Yr Hafod (The Summer Dwelling) is a small country house, for the discerning guest, who is looking for high quality accommodation, with character and which provides excellent food. Centuries old, this former farmhouse is furnished in an individual style, using many antiques. The atmosphere is informal, guests remarking that it is more like a house party than a hotel.

The hotel is small yet provides a lounge with an open fire in winter, an oak pannelled bar and dining room. There is a private car park and some 2.5 acres of garden which we are currently developing with features, such as a rowan tunnel, of interest to those who enjoy gardens.

Six bedrooms, visitors lounge and bar.

All bedrooms are en-suite, two with showers and four with bath and shower.
Each bedroom is quite individual and guests are asked to choose which they would like.

At the heart of staying at Hafod is our food. An enthusiastic chef, who has previously run well known restaurants in West Wales, Chris takes pride in preparing everything possible himself, down, even to the bread used at breakfast.

To compliment the food, there is an exceptional wine list which runs to some 60 bins.

All prices are per person per night, based on two sharing a standard room. A single supplement of £7.50 applies for sole room occupants.

A credit card number will secure your booking. A £50.00 deposit is required for each room booked.

Guests are respectfully reminded that a booking, unless clearly stated to be and confirmed as provisional, constitutes a binding contract. In the event of cancellation, the full Bed and Breakfast rate will be charged. We shall make every attempt to re-let the accommodation which has been booked, and will allow a refund of any monies so obtained, by ourselves.

The management reserve the right to amend prices as and when they deem to be appropriate.

Guests are advised to take out holiday insurance to cover any loss so incurred.
